BACK HOME FORWARD

Anno Matthias Henke was born in Marburg (Ger) in 1965.
He has studied fine arts, french language, history and geography at the university
of Cologne and has realized a constant output of painting, graphic art, installations,
projects on materials and objects as well as various music projects and writing works.
Since 2002 he lives and works in Bologna/Italy.
Works at the theme " Ocean and desert ", fossiles and earth-history which evolves itselfs
to the paintings cycle " Stone signs ", an artistical research on cryptic traces leaved
by time and men on earth.
Conceptional works titled " Heroes ", as an ironic-cynical reflection and confrontation with
the U.S. foreign politics.
Recent project " Tales of love, hope and confusion " - a research on the confusion of the
universe of eroticism and experiment with digital media and fotography.
